Returns, Warranty, and Cancellations

 

Regular returns:

We allow 60 days to return an item for any reason. You can initiate a return by clicking on the link above.

Return Shipping Costs

For regular returns, the buyer covers the shipping cost. To make this easier, we provide a pre-paid shipping label at our discounted rate. The cost of the label will be deducted from your refund.

 

 We pay for the return if:

 

Our website had incorrect information

  • Please contact us first and provide details (year, make, model, engine, VIN, etc.) so we can fix any errors.
  • If you return an item without contacting us, we’ll process it as a standard return and deduct return shipping costs.

The item is defective

  • Please describe the issue. Many of the products get sent to the manufacturer for testing, so please be as detailed as you can. You can describe your issue when initiating a return in our returns portal.
  • If the manufacturer does not find a defect or we don’t receive a description of the problem, the return will be treated as a standard return, and return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.

All other regular returns the buyer is responsible for shipping costs. We will send a pre-paid label from our discounted shipping account, and deduct the cost of the label from the refund to streamline the process

 

Restocking Fees & Return Conditions

We do not charge a restocking fee for standard returns. Only the return shipping cost is deducted.

 

Returns will not be accepted if the item is used, mishandled, or damaged due to misuse. These items cannot be re-sold. 

 

Returning unopened shipping packages:

 If you have a package that is unopened, you may refuse it for free it by taking it back to UPS or the post office (depending on which service was used to ship the package). Do not drop a refused package in any drop box. Packages can get lost  by doing this. Take it directly to any counter person and let them know you would like to refuse the package and return to sender.  Please inform us at info@araparts.com if you decide to do this. Refused packages can take weeks to arrive back to our warehouse, which is why we recommend informing us of this. Once the original tracking indicates that the package is being returned to us, we will initiate a refund.

Cancellations:

If the order has not been dispatched to the warehouse, you can cancel an order. Please Email us at info@araparts.com with the order number you would like cancelled.

 

If the order has been dispatched already, this order will not be able to be cancelled. You may return the order for a refund. You may also refuse a package. If you refuse a package, please let us know so we can refund you quickly. Otherwise, a refused package typically takes longer to 

 

Warranty Claims:

Warranty claims are different than returns. We refund defective items within return policy. After that, we exchange defective items for as long as the stated warranty time period. To start a warranty claim, please contact info@araparts.com and let us know what problem you are experiencing. 

 

Shipping Damage:

 If the item arrived damaged, leave the packaging as is, and contact us immediately. Please email us at info@araparts.com with pictures of the damaged items. We recommend getting a picture of the damaged item, and damaged box (if applicable) with the shipping label in view.
